The contemporary Party Room sets just the right tone for modern entertaining.
One of the largest and most-anticipated condo developments that will launch in Toronto this year is Time and Space Condominiums by Pemberton Group. We have some renderings to share with you and additional information about the project’s size, amenities, and suites!
Time and Space will bound by Front, Sherbourne, and Princess Streets, and The Esplanade. The development will completely transform an entire city block at Front and Sherbourne, with striking exterior design by award-winning Wallman Architects. The cascading tower design will allow for suite designs that have spacious terraces and patios.
Renowned interior design firm, U31, worked their magic on the Time and Space amenities, which include a marble-clad lobby, a club-inspired party room, an on-site theatre, a games room, a fitness centre and an infinity edge swimming pool with outdoor cabanas and barbeques. There will also be an outdoor courtyard. On the 17th floor, the landscaped terrace will be a private oasis, and great spot for yoga enthusiasts to Zen out.
At the beginning of 2017, the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) announced that last year ended with new high-rise inventory hitting a 10-year low. Time and Space will bring some much needed inventory to market! The new home low-rise inventory issue is even worse, and it’s causing prices to rise, pushing buyers toward the more affordable high-rise market.
This shift is also causing a stronger demand for larger condo units. People are planning on living in condos longer, renting for longer, and raising children. At Time and Space, the suites range from one-bedrooms to three-bedrooms, so there will be a wide selection for singles, couples, and families. There will surely be investors as well looking to take advantage of the great area and hot rental market in Toronto.
Located between the historic Distillery District and world-famous St. Lawrence Market, Time and Space is within walking distance of many downtown Toronto hot spots, such as the Sony Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, Sugar Beach, and the Waterfront Trail. Also, the St. Lawrence Market’s $60 million North Building redevelopment is currently underway. Once it is complete, there will be even more amenities nearby.
Getting around Time and Space’s neighbourhood without a car is super convenient. In fact, Walkscore.com gives Time and Space’s location a 99 out of 100 Walk Score, calling it a “Walker’s Paradise” because you can accomplish all your daily errands on foot. The Transit Score is 100 thanks to the nearby 24-hour King streetcar, King subway station, and Union Station. If you prefer to get around on two wheels, the Bike Score is 95. There is a separated bike lane on Sherbourne and the Waterfront Trail is easily accessible.
Of course, if you have a car and need to get around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the Gardiner is only a few seconds away and the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) is nearby for north travel. If you work and live downtown, then you’ll probably take transit or walk to work. For example, if you work in the Financial District, you can either enjoy the 15-minute walk to work or hop on the King streetcar and get there in less than 10 minutes.
