There are only 29 townhomes at Village Square in Holland Landing!

When it comes to finding the perfect newly built home, it can be challenging because a lot of people don’t want to move into a construction site. This is why infill communities like Village Square in Holland Landing by WestLane Development are so enticing!

Village Square is an intimate collection of 29 executive townhomes, which are currently under construction at the corner of Peter Street and School Street in the heart of Holland Landing. The new townhomes are being built within an established community with quiet streets that are lined with mature trees and beautifully maintained older homes.

Often, when you purchase a preconstruction home or a home that is under construction in an area that is still in need of a lot of development, your completed home can briefly be surrounded by dirt and machinery. For some people, this isn’t an issue because it’s worth it to them to be in on the ground floor of a brand new community, but if you want a new home without the construction environment, then an infill site like Village Square is what you want!

The townhomes of Village Square feature three- and four-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 square feet. This size range makes Village Square an ideal community for young couples looking to move up into a larger home and start a family. The community is also great for empty nesters looking to downsize into a home in a village atmosphere (Holland Landing is technically a village in the town of East Gwillimbury).

Just because Village Square is an infill site doesn’t mean that East Gwillimbury is done growing. In fact, East Gwillimbury saw a surge of sales last year as builders and homebuyers are recognizing the potential of the town. As of 2011, East Gwillimbury’s population was just over 22,000 people, and over the next 15 years, the population is expected to quadruple (to 88,000) and there will be approximately 34,000 jobs, according to the town’s growth plan.

Clearly, there is a lot of development planned for East Gwillimbury, and now is the time to get in on it and benefit from the growth! To no surprise, the sudden demand for new low-rise housing in East Gwillimbury has spiked, and Village Square is your chance to make a great investment and be a part of it all.

Living in Village Square in Holland Landing

We briefly mentioned that Village Square is a great opportunity for young couples thinking of starting a family; to prove it, there are two schools within a very close proximity to the community. Holland Landing Public School is only a three minute drive from Village Square and a 15 minute walk. Good Shepherd Catholic Elementary School is only a couple extra minutes to the east.

Something we really love about Holland Landing and East Gwillimbury is the amount of parks and conservations areas. Near Village Square, there are many green space areas, including Holland Landing Conservation Area, Oriole Park, and Samuel Lount Park. Holland Landing Community Centre also provides a lot of services and recreation opportunities for both indoor and outdoor family fun.

Since Holland Landing is a well established village with a rich history, all the amenities your family could ever need are within a few minutes by car, such as places of worship, grocery stores, shopping, banks, and easy access to major transportation arteries (including Yonge Street and Highway 404).
