Minto recently broke ground at Kingmeadow, its new North Oshawa community. Set for occupancy beginning in March 2014, Minto is thrilled to start construction of this highly-anticipated neighbourhood.

Joined by Mayor John Henry, and City Councillors John R. Aker and Bruce Wood, Minto’s Vice President of Development, Vince Santino, addressed the crowd.

“Very exciting times for all of us at Minto and we’re very grateful to be able to celebrate our official groundbreaking with members of staff, council and Mayor Henry today. Staff and council have been supportive of our efforts towards the Kingmeadow community and their presence at our groundbreaking event today really means a lot to us.  We look forward to being an important community partner to the City of Oshawa for many years to come,” said Santino.

Now in its second phase of sales, Kingmeadow has had an unprecedented response from the community. A collection of 36’ and 43’ lot detached homes and spacious towns, these homes are set on ample green space and pastoral landscapes, yet they are immediately nearby neighbourhood amenities like schools, recreation centres and shopping. This community is easily accessible from the 401, minutes from the future 407 and is just east of Brooklin.

“Today was a great day for Minto. We’ve had such a warm response from the Oshawa community, so we’re thrilled that Kingmeadow will be a neighbourhood for families to enjoy and grow in,” said Natascha Pieper, Director of Marketing at Minto.

In a family-oriented neighbourhood, Kingmeadow homes offer seldom-found affordability of these homes considering how spacious they are. Bridle and Traditional towns feature open concept designs, start from the low $200’s and many including finished basements. The 36’ and 43’ singles are prices in the $300’s and offer up to 3502 sq.ft.

The Minto Kingmeadow Sales Centre is located at 2361 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario, open Monday through Thursday 12-7 and Saturday to Sunday 11-6. Please call 289-634-1005 to set up an appointment. To learn more visit mintokingmeadow.com.
