Four New Models Open at Victoria Highlands in Mount Albert

By Lucas on Oct 01, 2014

Last weekend, Averton Homes and Rosehaven Homes hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open four new model homes at their Mount Albert community, Victoria Highlands.

More than 200 community members, including East Gwillimbury mayor Virginia Hackson came out to celebrate the grand opening of the four designer decorated models, which range from 2,615 to 3,998 square feet.

If you are follower of the Newinhomes.com Blog, you’ve probably noticed that this is the season for new releases, new openings, and new model homes. The opening of a new model is always exciting for both builders and homebuyers. The builders get excited because they get to show off their product in real life instead of in renderings and blackline floorplans, and it’s exciting for homebuyers for obvious reasons - you get to tour a model and get a feel for what the community has to offer, and you get a bunch of decor ideas.

Each builder is offering a distinct collection of homes, which will make for vibrant streetscapes when the community is fully constructed. Averton is building a series of detached homes on 33’, 40’, and 65’ lots, ranging from 1,530 to 4,580 square feet.

Some of the interior features and finishes that really stand out in Averton’s collection are the 9’ ceilings, gas fireplaces, prefinished oak natural hardwood, and designer kitchens with oak cabinetry, granite countertops, and high quality imported ceramic tile.

Rosehaven’s collection of homes features sunken foyers, 9’ ceilings and coffered ceilings, wide plank pre-finished engineered natural oak hardwood flooring, and kitchens with custom quality cabinetry, extended upper cabinets, breakfast counters, spacious pantries, and islands.

The quiet life in Mount Albert

Mount Albert is an intimate community in the town of East Gwillimbury. With a population of about 3,500, the community has a friendly, neighbourly atmosphere, but don’t let its size fool you, there are still many amenities and services available.

Located along Ninth Line, just north of Mount Albert Road, Victoria Highlands will be within a close proximity to a pharmacy and medical centre, banking, a community centre, a library, and food markets. Mt. Albert Public School is only a few minutes away, and there is a new school proposed for a location even closer to Victoria Highlands.

There are many parks in the neighbourhood, including Ross Family Complex Park, which is right next to Victoria Highlands, and Vivian Creek Park and Shannon Park. Also, all the amenities of Newmarket and Stouffville are only 10 minutes away by car.

If you’re interested in calling the quaint community of Mount Albert home, then you need more information about Victoria Highlands. You can visit the Averton Homes sales office at 19103 Highway 48 or call 416-924-0110.
