Fairgate Towns: Preview Opening!

By Lucas on May 02, 2013

On Saturday, April 27, Fairgate Homes hosted a Preview Opening for registrants of Fairgate Towns in Whitby. The weather was nice and the prices were right – it was a good day to buy a new townhome!

Fairgate Towns moving fast!

The doors opened to a few of the first appointments at about 10 a.m., and like that, a couple of units sold. Then, before we knew it, two more “sold” buttons popped up on the wall-mounted siteplan! If you’re a follower of our blog, you understand that we attend community openings all the time – and we’ve never seen sales that quick.

We didn’t get a chance to see how the rest of the day turned out, but you can bet that there are only a few units remaining at Fairgate Towns!

A few words from Emilio Ronco

The President of Fairgate Homes, Emilio Ronco, officially began the day by highlighting a few special features of the Fairgate Towns community and neighbourhood for the appointment holders:

“Our community is bound to the north by provincially significant wetlands, parks, parkettes, and open space. To the east, is Anderson Street North, which is existing residential. At the south is a commercial plaza, Durham Board of Education High School, and Emergency Service and Durham Police Headquarters. Garden Street is to the west and is also existing residential.”

Ronco continued, “Our freehold townhomes are designed specifically to have great street appeal. As you can see, we have incorporated articulating architectural windows on the front elevations, steep roof slopes, and different finishing components. The main entry is the focal point and visible from the street, and we have provided three-quarter-inch glass inserts to allow maximum light to enter the foyer.”

Fairgate Towns in Whitby

Ronco presented some key points of the community, and there is so much more to discover in this great Whitby neighbourhood. Everything you could ever need is within reach, including schools, restaurants, big-box stores like Canadian Tire, Winners, and Staples, as well as a new Target just down the street.

The way we see it, if the folks at Target have recognized this neighbourhood as a prime location for one of their new Canadian stores, then it’s an area on the rise. We are very excited for the purchasers at Fairgate Towns to be a part of Whitby’s success.
