New Low-Rise Inventory Increases Throughout the TMA

After three quarters, 87 percent of Trimart Research Corporation’s annual forecast has been achieved, with new low-rise sales in the Total Market Area (TMA) up 27.2 percent compared to the same period last year. According to Trimart, there were 1,948 low-rise sales in the TMA last September, making it the second highest September on record for the last six years. Due to 20 new openings and 30 new releases in September alone, the TMA’s inventory level has increased 2.7 percent, giving homebuyers a lot of options heading into the holidays.

Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:

Trafalgar Landing - via Great Gulf Trafalgar Landing - via Great Gulf

Taking the top spot on this week’s Trimart report is Trafalgar Landing, a brand new townhome community in Oakville by Great Gulf. During the opening month of Trafalgar Landing, Great Gulf saw a tremendous 51 sales! The community features a variety of townhome floorplans, ranging from 1,705 to 2,015 square feet, with prices starting at $449,990. Like Brampton, Richmond Hill, and Markham, Oakville is one of those areas that is on the rise right now with a high number of luxury communities in the works.

La Viva Towns - via Lormel Homes La Viva Towns - via Lormel Homes

The second position is taken by another community that celebrated its opening last month, La Viva Towns by Lormel Homes. Located in Woodbridge, the community had 47 sales during its opening month. La Viva Towns features, you guessed it, a collection of townhomes with sizes ranging from 977 to 1,047 square feet. Ideal for first-time buyers and downsizers, La Viva Towns starts at just $369,990 and is surrounded by the amazing amenities of downtown Woodbridge.

If you haven’t noticed yet, there’s a common theme on this week’s Trimart report. All the communities featured opened last month and most of them offer townhomes! The third spot is snagged by 9130 Bathurst, Senator Homes, new townhome development in Vaughan. The community features a selection of homes ranging from 1,765 to 2,420 square feet, with prices starting at $709,990.

Lotus Pointe - via Greenpark Lotus Pointe - via Greenpark

Tying for third with 45 sales is Lotus Pointe by Greenpark Homes. Located in Caledon, Lotus Pointe features an extensive selection of semis and 41’, 43’, and 50’ detached homes, ranging from 1,756 to 4,110 square feet. Prices for the remaining homes start at $459,990. Caledon is known for its breathtaking natural landscape, and since Lotus Pointe in situated on the south end near Brampton, residents of the community will be able to take advantage of both areas!

Urbantowns on Bayview - via Treasure Hill Homes Urbantowns on Bayview - via Treasure Hill Homes

Coming in fourth with 25 sales in the opening month is Urbantowns on Bayview by Treasure Hill Homes. This Richmond Hill community features a wide array of townhomes, ranging from 1,904 to 2,460 square feet, with prices starting at $729,900. These modern townhome designs will surely liven up the traditional streetscapes of Richmond Hill!

Ruby Village - via Stonebridge Building Group Ruby Village - via Stonebridge Building Group

For the last community featured on this week’s Trimart report, we have another tie. During the opening month, Ruby Village by Stonebridge Building Group saw 25 sales. Located in Orangeville, Ruby Village is an affordable townhome community with homes ranging from 1,300 to 1,490 square feet and prices starting at $285,990.
