Millstone on the Park Community Cooks Up Great Fun

Menkes Developments and Fernbrook Homes – two of the GTA’s most successful and respected builders, hosted a fun-filled Homeowner Appreciation BBQ in the Millstone on the Park community park in Oakville on Saturday, September 22nd. 

Approximately 250 current and future homeowners were in attendance for this fun-filled event. Bouncy castles, a creature show, face painting, balloon animals, games and great food (the ice cream truck was a hit!) were centre stage on this sunny autumn afternoon!

The day was closed off by an amazing raffle that consisted of prizes such as a Nintendo Wii, a Weber BBQ, a Kobo e-reader and a host of other fabulous gifts donated by Menkes’ and Fernbrook’s valued suppliers.  

Cogeco, Bell and the Oakville Fire Department also took part by handing out materials and answering questions. The fire truck was a big draw for the children who had a blast climbing inside and learning about fire prevention. Finally, Menkes and Fernbrook would like to thank all the homeowners at Millstone on the Park who donated non-perishable food items to the BBQ for Menkes and Fernbrook to donate to Oakville Fareshare Food Bank; an entire bin was filled!  A special thanks to event sponsors Cogeco, Bell and BMO.
