Make Room for OCADU with Aspen Ridge Homes

By on Sep 22, 2010

This fall Aspen Ridge Homes will introduce Studio on Richmond to the city of Toronto. A spectacular melding of architecture, art and a place to get a great cup of coffee, this brand new condo complex on the northeast corner of Duncan and Nelson Streets will be home to not only the lucky buyers, but also OCAD's new Gallery and Café. The 8,000 sq. ft. public art gallery and eatery will showcase artwork by graduates of OCADU, Canada's University of the Imagination and serve as a new cultural centre within the city.

Studio promises to be one of the most imaginative and inspiring places to live in the city, in the midst of restaurants, lounges, shopping, subway stations and cultural venues. Studio will invigorate the crossroads of Toronto's Financial and Cultural Districts with modern architecture that will turn heads toward the future.

To celebrate the coming of this über cool condominium, which will feature an inspiring collection of sleek, chic amenities, the public is invited to take part in "Make Room for OCADU." This artistic exchange program is intended to replace inferior art across the city with outstanding pieces. Just seek out the least appealing examples of art you can find; send in a photo, scan or actual sample; and receive in return a free lithograph of an artwork created by an OCAD student. Plus, you get a chance to win a weekly prize of dinner for two at Frank in the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Art, architecture, food -- what else could you ask for?
