TMA’s New Low-Rise Market Finishes Strong in Second Quarter

According to Trimart Research Corporation, the Total Market Area saw a record breaking June with 2,085 new low-rise sales. Inventory levels stayed solid and there was an 18.9 percent year-over-year increase in sales. Trimart’s records state that June had the most sales out of any June over the last seven years, thanks mostly to the opening of Aurora Trails by Arista, Fieldgate, OPUS, and Paradise, and the opening of Upper West Side by Aspen Ridge, The Conservatory Group, CountryWide, Regal Crest, and Townwood. At the end of the second quarter, 59.6 percent of Trimart’s annual forecast has been achieved!

Lakeshore Village - via Country Homes

Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is Lakeshore Village, a Country Homes community in Mississauga that saw a tremendous 117 sales during its opening month! Lakeshore Village features townhomes ranging from 1,950 to 2,380 square feet with prices starting from $619,990.

Hawthorne Village - via Mattamy Homes

Second place is taken by Hawthorne Village, a Milton community by Mattamy Homes that saw 56 sales last month. The community offers a selection of townhomes and 30’ and 36’ detached homes ranging from 1,044 to 2,824 square feet. Prices start from just $306,990.

Kingmeadow - via Minto

The third spot is snagged by a Trimart report veteran, Kingmeadow by Minto. Located in Oshawa, Kingmeadow had 28 sales last month. The community features townhomes and 36’ and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,068 to 3,502 square feet. Prices start from only $229,990.

Village of Southfields - via Coscorp

Coming in fourth is Village of Southfields by Coscorp Homes. Located in Caledon, the community saw 22 sales last month. The Village of Southfields offers 36’ and 43’ detached homes ranging from 1,500 to 3,522 square feet. Prices start from as low as $523,000.

Wildflowers - via Mattamy Homes

The fifth spot is taken by another Mattamy community, Wildflowers in Kitchener, which had 16 sales last month. Wildflowers features townhomes and 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes ranging from 1,263 to 3,164 square feet, with prices as low as $254,990.

U.C. - via Tribute

Coming in sixth is another Oshawa development, U.C. by Tribute Communities. This project features semis and 30’, 36’, and 40’ detached homes, and saw 15 sales last month. The homes range from 1,444 to 5,578 square feet and start from $297,990.
