Pemberton teams up with Wallnoize to create new public art at Ten93 Queen West Condos!

The corner of Queen West and Dovercourt is now a work of art.

If you’ve walked around the intersection of Queen Street West and Dovercourt Road in Toronto recently, you likely will have noticed the bold new artwork that’s there. These amazing murals have been brought to life through a partnership between Pemberton Group and Wallnoize. Pemberton worked with Wallnoize to bring a fresh urban look to the Ten93 Queen Street West Condominiums construction hoarding.

Wallnoize project manager Angel Carrillo (aka Cruz1) - also responsible for the striking Pan Am Games murals in the GO Bloor-Perth Underpass - led the team of creative street artists on the Ten93 project.

Over the course of just three days, Cruz1 coordinated with up-and-coming talents, such as Blaze, Vinser, CTR, Vista, Flips, and Dudeman, as well as the well-known GH Crew consisting of Johny, Done, Cawt, Sonz, Sizeo, Looter, Knowr, and Werc.

“We wanted to embrace the artists’ work and give them a blank canvas so they could fully showcase their talent, and Queen West was the perfect neighbourhood to do just that,” says Alexandra Muzzo, Pemberton Sales and Marketing Manager.

Colourful panels are visible on three sides of the construction site. In order to create a sense of unity on the Queen Street facade, the artists utilized a single colour palette; a rare occurrence in Toronto’s graffiti scene.

With the amount of construction hoarding lining Toronto’s streets, there is so much potential for condo developers to work with local artists to help give them a high exposure canvas to display their talents. We’re very excited to see that Pemberton took the initiative to make a project like this a reality.
