Guelph Communities Take Over the Trimart Hot Spot

With a high volume of new openings and releases in October, the low-rise market was well stocked heading into November. Even though October saw its highest sales figures in the last nine years, there were still a number of homes available. According to Trimart Research Corporation, Brampton has achieved 4,428 year to date (YTD) sales and is definitely uncatchable. The closest city is Milton with 1,073 sales, and Toronto is trailing behind with only 984 YTD sales. Trimart believes that if interest rates remain low for the rest of the year, sales will stay relatively strong through the traditionally slow period.

Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites from the last month:

Aurora Glen - via Lindvest

Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is Aurora Glen by Lindvest. This is the first time Lindvest has topped Trimart’s report, and they did it with a statement. During opening month, Aurora Glen saw 100 sales, and Phase 1 is completely sold out! The community features 38’ and 44’ detached homes ranging from 2,437 to 3,850 square feet. Prices start at $749,000.

The Preserve - via Mattamy Homes

Following closely with a tremendous 75 sales last month is The Preserve by Mattamy Homes. Located in Oakville, the community features an array of village homes and 34’, 38’, 45’, and 50’ detached homes, ranging from 1,036 to 4,242 square feet. Prices start from $398,990 and reach to more than $1 million. With a wide range of sizes and prices, the community is perfect for large families and those looking to start a family.

Kingmeadow - via Minto

Coming in third is another Trimart veteran, Kingmeadow by Minto. Located in Oshawa, this community saw 27 sales last month and occupancy is well underway. Kingmeadow features townhomes, as well as 36’ and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,068 to 3,502 square feet. Prices start from an affordable $229,990.

ALIVE - via Reid's Heritage Homes

The fourth spot is taken by ALIVE at Pergola by Reid’s Heritage Homes. This Guelph community had 21 sales last month. The popular collection of townhomes is selling quickly, so you need to act fast to be a part of this community! The townhomes range from 1,276 to 1,974 and prices start at $349,990.

MeadowGreen - via Remington

Coming in fifth is MeadowGreen by Remington Homes. Remington opened this community in Brampton last month and achieved 19 sales. MeadowGreen offers townhomes, semis, and 38’ and 46’ detached homes, ranging from 1,902 to 3,903 square feet. Prices start at $447,900 and reach to more than $800,000.

Huron Woods - via Freure Homes

The last spot on this week’s Trimart report is snagged by another Guelph community, Huron Village by Freure Homes. There were 10 sales at Huron Village last month, and there has been a lot of buzz around the community throughout the fall. The community features townhomes and 38’ detached homes ranging from 1,529 to 2,959 square feet. Prices start at just $280,900, making the community perfect for first-time homebuyers.
