Grenadier Square in High Park

The High Park neighbourhood of Toronto has always been one of the most desirable areas in the city. High Park has possibly the best combination of green space and beautiful century old homes that we have seen. The area is anchored by the 400-acre park, which is frequented by both locals and people from outside Toronto. Plus there is a wide variety of amenities along Bloor St. West. There is no doubt about it, High Park is the place to be!
The new vision for High Park Avenue
High Park Bayview Inc., the owner of a rental townhome and apartment complex located just north of the corner of High Park Ave. and Bloor St. West, is seeking permission to redevelop the townhome portions of the site into new towers. According to a plan submitted to City of Toronto, High Park Bayview Inc. is seeking permission to add two 31-storey condominium towers on the site, taking the place of 16 low-end rental townhomes. The towers will feature 305 residential units, ranging in size from studios to two-bedrooms.Grenadier Square
The project has been dubbed “Grenadier Square.” There is a series of high-rise rental buildings surrounding the site, and Grenadier Square will serve as their centrepiece, bringing the neighbourhood together. The modern design of Grenadier Square will definitely stand out in High Park, but in a good way. It looks like High Park Bayview Inc. spent a great deal of time designing the podiums of the towers to complement the cherished atmosphere of High Park’s beloved streetscapes.
Developers flocking to High Park
We are starting to see more and more condominium projects popping up in the High Park area. The Daniels Corporation has “HighPark Condominiums,” North Drive has “The High Park Condos” in the works, and Chestnut Hill Homes has launched “The Address at High Park.” Each development has experienced excellent sales so far.
