You may have heard that Greatwise Developments recently opened Phase 2 of Fresh Towns in Ottawa. Coinciding with the opening, Greatwise also hosted the Interior Design Event for purchasers and those interested in buying a new home at Fresh Towns.

Greatwise worked with West of Main Interior Design to come up with the contemporary, stylish interiors at Fresh Towns. Just like the name of the community, the interior design was approached with a fresh perspective, appealing to first-time buyers and young families.

Principal Senior Designer, Sascha Lafleur, spoke at the Interior Design Event, providing tips and presenting a few of the incredible features and finishes offered at Fresh Towns.

“The counters in these homes are quartz; the appliances are stainless steel; and the floors are engineered hardwood,” says Lafleur. “This is really nice for first-time buyers especially. They are pleased to have such high specs in their first home. The appointments may also be considered a bonus, when it comes to resale someday.”

Lafleur and her team designed four colour packages for Fresh Towns and they are highlighted at the presentation gallery along with full size kitchen and bathroom vignettes. When you visit the presentation gallery, you can actually see and touch these beautiful finishes.

It’s great when developers work with forward thinking, innovative interior design firms because it goes a long way with purchasers, as Lafleur mentioned. If you’re a first-time buyer and you decide to buy resale, there’s a pretty good chance you won’t be remodeling your kitchen and bathroom from scratch.

When you buy new, you get to pick these features and finishes, and at Fresh Towns, there are packages that allow you to see what finishes look good together. This process of selecting features and finishes is an experience most first-time buyers only get to experience if they buy new construction!

There are two collections of townhomes at Fresh Towns; Contemporary Towns and Rooftop Towns. Both collections offer two- and three-bedroom plans with available models ranging from 1,283 to 1,661 square feet. All townhomes come with a private garage.

The Rooftop Towns have been a hot ticket item because Ottawa doesn’t have many new townhome communities with rooftop terraces. This extra outdoor space really appeals to young buyers, especially those who like to entertain in the spring and summer.

The Fresh Towns presentation gallery is located at 2795 Baseline Rd. and open Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm and on the weekend from 11 am to 5 pm. You can call 613-693-0808 for more information.

Prices start from the upper $300,000s and range up to the $400,000s.
