Coming Soon: Casa III Condominiums

By Lucas on Apr 15, 2013

The intensification of Charles Street continues to fascinate us. What was once a quiet side street a few blocks south of Bloor now features a mix of high-rises. It all started with one developer and a vision. Years later, Charles Street is easily one of Toronto’s most popular streets.

The intensification of Charles St.

Cresford Developments spearheaded the growth of Charles Street. Their prominent development Casa has become one of the most interesting projects in the city, and Casa II at 42 Charles St. East is set to make a huge impact. That brings us to the third installment of Casa, which just might be the most aesthetically pleasing yet.

Casa III Condominiums set to debut on Charles St.

Casa III Condominiums will be located on the site of the current post office at 50 Charles St. East. The tower, designed by architectsAlliance, will bring an updated look to the area, with strong lines and a unique podium – all while playing off the designs of the previous two towers. Although there is no application submitted with the City of Toronto, the plan calls for a 50-storey residential tower with both retail and office components.

Cresford Developments’ impact on Toronto

Cresford has been extremely busy over the past year. They launched the successful Casa II development, as well as their high profile project at 1000 Bay St. They continue to work on their previous developments such as NXT2, Lofts 399, and Merton Yonge Condominiums, which are all at various stages of construction. It’s fair to say that they have made a significant impact on the new condominium scene in Toronto.

We anxiously await new info on Casa III, so stay tuned for updates!
