Canadian Per Capita Net Worth Hits All Time High

Canadian household net worth increased by $196 billion to $7.89 trillion in the first quarter of 2014. Per capita net worth also reached an all time high, going from $217,900 to $223,200. In the Total Market Area, July’s total 1,499 sales is an increase by 11 percent compared to the same period last year, but it is 28.1 percent lower than June 2014. July’s sales are still impressive because June was a record breaking month.

mattamy homes Mount Pleasant North - via Mattamy Homes

After a short break from the top position, Mattamy Homes is back with 71 sales last month at their Brampton community, Mount Pleasant North/Village. The community features village homes, three-storey towns, and 30’ and 38’ detached homes, ranging from 612 to 2,808 square feet. Prices start at $202,990.

Fields of Conlin II - via Greycrest Homes Fields of Conlin II - via Greycrest Homes

The second spot is taken by a Trimart newcomer, The Fields of Conlin II by Greycrest Homes. Located in Oshawa, the community saw 50 sales in its opening month. The Fields of Conlin II feature 35’, 40’, and 45’ detached homes ranging from 1,739 to 3,144 square feet, with prices starting as low as $389,900.

Parkwood - via Monarch Parkwood - via Monarch

Coming in third is Parkwood, a Monarch development in Scarborough that saw 43 sales during the opening month. The community features a great collection of townhomes, ranging from 1,801 to 2,236 square feet, with prices starting from $464,990.

The Arbors - via CountryWide Homes The Arbors - via CountryWide Homes

Placing fourth is CountryWide Homes’ new Aurora community The Arbors, which saw 36 sales in the opening month. The community features a wide selection of 36’ detached homes ranging from 2,055 to 3,207 square feet. Prices start at $709,990.

The fifth position is taken by a Trimart report veteran. Kingmeadow by Minto had 32 sales last month. The Oshawa development features townhomes and 36’ and 43’ detached homes ranging from 1,065 to 3,502 square feet. Prices start as low as $229,990.

Via orchardridgehomes.com Crafthouse - via Orchard Ridge Homes

The last spot on this week’s Trimart report is the very exciting, modern community Crafthouse by Orchard Ridge Homes. With 11 sales in the opening month, the Toronto community is now over 50 percent sold. There is still a good selection of detached homes, ranging from 3,084 to 5,452 square feet. Prices start at 1,795,000.
