The 7th Annual Kylemore Kares Golf Tournament

Earlier in August, Kylemore Communities hosted their 7th Annual Kylemore Kares Golf Tournament at the world-renowned Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham.

Over 200 golfers attended this year, including owners and employees of Kylemore, as well as the owners and employees of the builder’s trusted trades and consultants. Everyone kicked off the day with a big breakfast, followed by a round of golf, live music, and a bunch of great prizes were given away!

Post-golf festivities take place on the patio at Angus Glen Golf Club.

Over the last seven years, Kylemore Kares has raised nearly $1 million, all of which has gone directly to a variety of community-based charities and organizations through sponsorships and donations. The money raised this year will be distributed to a number of charities and organizations.

“Everything we raise goes right back to the community,” says Kylemore’s President Patrick O’Hanlon. “We believe in giving back to our universities, hospitals, as well as smaller community-based organizations and individuals who need our help.”

Debra Cooper Burger, President and CEO of Unionville Homes Society and Attilio Lio of Zodiac Developments representing York Region Children’s Aid Foundation spoke at the golf tournament, sharing their appreciation for the support Kylemore Kares has offered over the past few years.

“We’re committed to making a difference in our communities,” says O’Hanlon. “We can design and build a house, we can plan a community, but it’s the people who make it feel like home.”

Current Kylemore developments

Kylemore has three developments under construction at the moment: The 6th Condominium, Parkside East, and Stollery Estates, all of which are part of the Angus Glen master-plan. Future developments coming soon include Village Gate which is another new phase of Angus Glen, the Northlands, and Langstaff Gateway in Markham.
